Philatelical and Numismatic Club

The Philatelical and Numismatic Club of Castiglione delle Stiviere includes, among its institutional aims, also the participation at the socio-cultural life of the town. That is why, since 1999, it has struggled to organize various exhibitions concerning pictures, cards and iconographies about St. Luigi Gonzaga, Saint Patron of Castiglione delle Stiviere.
All the members of the Association are engaged in preserving the memory and in looking for an identity of the large and renewed community of Castiglione delle Stiviere, underlining the socio-cultural aspects taking place in it. Therefore, in these last years the Club has been involved in different activities: from the cultural event to the single postmark of the most important anniversaries coming, in the space of one year, to a historic and cultural synthesis of the most relevant facts of the town.
Also thanks to the exhibitions organized in the past and to the huge material coming from our central file we have prepared this web site to communicate our activity using a modern instrument and hoping for the interest also of the youngest.
